NOC the Rock – Norfolk Ocean Challenge

Come and join us for NOC the Rock – Norfolk Ocean Challenge in January 2026. NOC the Rock – Norfolk Ocean Challenge is a 3 day outrigger canoeing event hosted by the Norfolk Island Wa’a Outrigger Club. The week kicks off on Sunday afternoon with an opening ceremony which includes the event blessing and a Welcome Fish Fry. It’s a chance to mingle with the locals and other crews before racing commences on Monday. Monday’s planned race is the 26km V6 Round Island Iron Marathon. Wednesday is the 12km V6 Iron event, with a presentation evening held at the Norfolk Island Leagues Club. Friday’s scheduled events are the V1 & V6 sprints held in Emily Bay. Then come and join the closing festivities including presentation and 2 course Island style dinner. Gather your crew and book your spots for a week of paddling fun, spaces are strictly limited.
